This year’s host for the evening was the effervescent radio and TV presenter Zoë Ball, well known for presenting Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two and guest presenter of The One Show. This was a very exciting moment for Paul Taylor, the Managing Director of Taylor's Vehicle Repair Centre as they had won the coveted award last year and was once again was nominated for 2016.
Mr Taylor attended the prestigious awards 2016 in May and was anxious as to whether they would win again. Mr Taylor commented “well we won and it was a fabulous feeling - words cannot describe the euphoria I felt on winning this award two years in succession, in all the years of the body shops awards, no one has ever won it twice in succession. I am so proud of all my staff, whom without their determination and hard work this would have never happened and I want to dedicate this award to all off them who I respect deeply. Here's to 2017 - lets make it a hat trick.”

Taylor's Vehicle Repair Centre attended, having been nominated for a Customer Service Award and for Repairer of the Year 2017. This was the fourth time Taylor's had been nominated for Repairer of the Year in the last four years!
Paul Taylor, Managing Director, commented: 'To have been nominated again is a massive achievement for the staff, for all the hard work they had put into this year. Knowing they has already won the awards the two previous years, I knew they were gunning for a hat trick in 2017.”
The host for the evening was the multi-talented Gyles Brandreth who entertained the 823 audience members with his wit and charm.
This year, 16 insurance companies presented the 27 awards to their suppliers, and once again Mr Taylor attended the coveted awards ceremony being nominated for a fourth time.
Paul commented: 'This year was extra special as we had been nominated for two awards - Customer Care and Body Shop Of The Year, which we have won the previous 2 years.'
The tension was unbelievable as they announced the 2017 UK Body Shop Of The Year, and yes for the third time in succession, Taylor's had won Number One UK Body Shop 2017.
Paul commented: 'The feeling was unbelievable and the long walk to the stage was extra special as Taylor's had done what no one else has ever achieved, 3 time winners of the UK British Body Shop Awards.

On the night, 17 of the top tier insurance companies presented their awards to their winning body shop repairers. The evening was presented by the popular and stylish Fiona Bruce, star of BBC News, Crime Watch and the Antiques' Road Show. Taylors VRC Hull was a finalist last year for Centre of Excellence and just got pipped at the post by Arnold Clark of Kilmarnock.
Nominated once again by the insurance industry for Centre of Excellence 2015, Paul Taylor, Managing Director, attended the prestigious awards ceremony in London. Taylor's Vehicle Repair Centre Hull was awarded Winner No1 Centre of Excellence, much to the delight of their team.
Paul commented 'winning this award is a testament to all the hard work all my staff and myself have achieved over the years,to be awarded no1 by your peers. It makes it all worth while.
